Wirelessly Share Content Through AirDrop on iPad
Wirelessly share content with iOS 7 devices
As well as being able to share via social media, iMessage and email, you can use a feature called AirDrop to share content wirelessly from one iOS 7 device to another. As long as you have an iPhone 5 or later, a fourth generation iPad, iPad mini or 5th generation iPod touch, you can ping images and web pages from one to another.
Press the Share button when you are on a web page and, if AirDrop is enabled on a nearby device, its name will show up. Tap the icon and you will be able to share with the other user. They can then accept or decline your request. To turn AirDrop on, swipe up from the bottom of the screen to reveal the Control Center and tap the AirDrop icon. When it turns white it is on.
You can turn it off in exactly the same way when you are done if you do not want people to be able to find your device.
