Screenshots are extremely handy when you want to capture what is on your iPad’s display. An embarrassing shot of your friend yawning on FaceTime might be something you’d like to keep, or the more useful details from a webpage to send directly to your friends, perhaps.
To take a shot, press the power button on the top right-corner of your iPad and at the same time, press the Home button. The screen will flash and you will, if your sound is turned up, hear a shutter sound.
All screenshots are placed in your Camera Roll which you can access by going to your Photos app. They can then be edited and shared, just like ordinary images. Turn to page 54 for more information on using the Photos app.
