Update iPad software and Stay Up to Date

As you will probably be aware, every now and then Apple updates its software. Most often it adds security functions and some small added features, but even if the update is small, it is always advisable to keep up-todate.

You never know, it may be as big an update as the leap from iOS 6 to iOS 7, which has been the biggest and most impressive change yet.

To check if you are up-to date, go to Settings>General>Software Update. If an update is available, it will tell you. If there is one there, select the update and it will start to download. You then tap it to install. The iPad will then restart and you can carry on.
