Talk with multiple respondents (Group Messaging)

Messages can be sent to more than one person via iOS using group messages. They are easy to start. Tap the new message button and, in the To field, type the name of your first intended recipient. Now type more names. You can tap the ‘+’ icon to look through your contacts list.

If all of the recipients use iMessage, the group message will be sent this way. If there is a mixture of programs, it will use MMS. If things go wrong and this doesn’t work for some reason, go to Settings>Messages and make sure MMS Messaging is turned on. Any message sent will go to all members in the group.
