Add Multiple Email Accounts on iPad

Add Multiple Email Accounts and Create Separate Signatures

Add another email account & Use Multiple email accounts

Just because you are not using a computer doesn’t mean that you are stuck with one email account when you use your iPad. You can have as many as you like. To add another, go to Settings and select Mail, Contacts and Calendars. Scroll slightly down until you see the Add Account option and tap on it. You can choose from iCloud, Exchange, Google, Yahoo!, AOL and Outlook.com or you can tap Other. The named accounts guide you through set up but you will need to consult with your email provider if you select Other because it requires manual inputting of email settings.

Create separate signatures

Email signatures are a quick and easy way to give out important information each time you compose a message, without you having to write it in the message. You could have your address, phone number and Skype handle, for example. But what works as a signature on one account (say, your home address) won’t work on another (your work). So multiple signatures is the way to go.

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and scroll down. Tap Signature and then tap Per Account. You will see labels for each of your email accounts with boxes underneath. Type in the different signatures into each box and then tap Mail when you’re finished. You don’t have to assign signatures; the Mail app will work out which signature is needed based on the From field in your email.
