Search Email From Mailbox with one Click

Admittedly, the search function within Mail is not always as good as you would want it to be. Frustratingly, sometimes it can’t find an email even though you know it definitely contains the search terms you entered into the search field.

The best way to search is to identify the email account that the mail is likely to be in and select it from the Mail app. At the top of a mailbox screen is a search box. Enter the term you are looking for. The results will show on the screen.

If you are not sure of the specific account, then you can tap All Mailboxes from the main email screen and use the search box on that page to look across all of the email folders set up on your iPad. When you scroll to the bottom of search results, it will prompt Mail to automatically request more results from your email server.

This should hopefully allow you to find what you are looking for. Your search terms are important as you could end up with a lot of results or none at all.
