How to Improve iPad Battery Life

Apple has gone to great lengths to extend the life of the iPad’s battery, but the time between charges can change depending on how you use your tablet. The more resources you demand, the faster the battery will deplete. In this section, we will provide several hints and tips on preserving power without affecting the quality of your user experience. In many cases, you won’t even realise that you’re saving power.
How to Improve iPad Battery Life

Below are best ways to Improve iPad Battery Life:

Switch off connections:

Turn off Wi-Fi to save power. Go to Settings> Wi-Fi and set Wi-Fi to Off. Using 3G/4G mobile networks when you’re out of range of Wi-Fi allows you to stay in touch but may also decrease battery life. To disable 3G/4G, tap Settings>Cellular and set Cellular Data to Off. Turning on Airplane Mode can increase battery life where there is No Service. Go to Settings and swipe Airplane Mode to On.

Reduce brightness:

Tap on Settings. To adjust the iPad’s screen brightness, touch the Wallpapers & Brightness option on the left side of the screen. A new set of commands will appear on the right side of the screen. Slide the circular button at the top of the screen to adjust brightness. Sliding to the left will dim the screen and sliding to the right will make the iPad brighter. A dimmer screen will use less power.

Fetch data settings:

It’s great to have your iPad search for new email messages regularly, but the more frequently email is fetched, the quicker your battery may drain. To fetch data manually, go to Settings, then tap ‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ and, in Fetch New Data, tap the Manually option. To increase the fetch interval, go to Settings>‘Mail, Contacts, Calendars’ and, in Fetch New Data, tap Hourly.
