Set up Assistive Touch:

The Assistive Touch function is useful if you have difficulty touching the screen or pressing the buttons. This option can be used with a compatible third-party accessory such as a joystick. To turn on Assistive Touch, go to the Settings, then tap on General and, on the right of the screen, tap Accessibility then Assistive Touch, or use the Accessibility Shortcut. Add your own favourite gestures to the control menu by tapping Create New Gesture.

To display larger text in apps such as Calendar, Contacts, Mail, Messages and Notes, go to Settings>General>Accessibility and tap Larger Text. Swipe the Larger Accessibility Sizes for Larger Dynamic Type and adjust the font size.
